Why impact matters

Aaron Punwani, LCP CEO
I don’t believe that it’s enough for a business to focus solely on its own success. In a world of economic and environmental turmoil, we have a responsibility to actively seek out ways to do better, both in the services we provide and the way we live and work. In doing so, we will drive our own success, but more importantly, we will play a part in creating a better world.
At LCP, we have a powerful combination of people, skills and technology across a range of sectors and we believe we have an opportunity and responsibility to play our part to shape a more positive future. We challenge the status quo by looking closely at what the data is telling us and we aren’t afraid to advocate for change or have an opinion.
We work across industries and sectors that impact on the core issues affecting the world right now. Whether that’s through helping to secure better financial futures, striving for equity in our health systems or playing an active role in the energy transition, our work directly impacts people.
This report highlights some of our key achievements but also the principles that guide us when it comes to making a difference to our industries, our planet, people and wider communities.
How we create a positive impact

Kate Sinclair, Partner and Head of CSR
LCP is strongly committed to being a sustainable and responsible business that creates genuine impact both within our own walls and outside them. We're dedicated to reducing our environmental impact, supporting our communities, and ensuring we grow in a way that’s good for everyone. Perhaps most importantly, we are working hard to make sustainability a key part of our business planning and operations – ensuring that we are being transparent, acting ethically, and planning for the long term. These are big challenges, and considering them as part of a holistic approach will put us in the best possible position to achieve our goals.
That’s why this inaugural LCP Impact Report looks at the big picture – from how we care for the environment to how we treat people and make a positive difference to the industries we work in. In collating it, I was struck by the incredible energy, innovation and dedication of our 1,200+ people, so many of whom have taken both personal and collective responsibility to make positive change in many different ways.
There is an awful lot to be proud of, but while we should indeed celebrate how far we’ve come, we must also recognise that we have further to go, and remain ambitious for the impact we can create. With the planet facing urgent and real challenges, we have committed to continue to push forward, and to play our part in achieving a more positive future for everyone.
