The 2024 Global Investor Statement to governments on the Climate Crisis

The Governance Group is now a signatory to the 2024 Global Investor Statement to Governments on the Climate Crisis.

The statement seeks stronger government action to address climate change and calls on governments around the world to take action to, for example, ensure that they set climate action targets that align with the goal of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5C and implement domestic policies that help ensure that their 2030 greenhouse gas emissions are aligned with the 1.5C goal.

We believe it is crucial to be lending our support to this important collaborative investor initiative.
